Consider This:

Air conditioners have an outdoor condensing unit or compressor which must be kept sufficiently free of obstructions (such as shrubbery) to allow air to flow freely.

Before calling for Service:

  • Check to see that the thermostat is properly set.
  • Check the circuit breaker in the panel box. If tripped, reset by switching the breaker to full "OFF," then fully back to the "ON" position.
  • Check the electrical disconnect switch, located on or near the air handler, and reset.
  • Check the exterior disconnect switch located outside the home, near the compressor and reset.
  • If you have an issue that needs to be fixed please fill out a warranty form and send it in. We will provide the service required as soon as possible.

Air Controlling Tips:

  1. Window coverings should be installed to maintain consistent room temperatures. Direct sunlight entering the hosue will increase the temperature in the affected area.
  2. If the unit isn't working, try to reset by switching the breaker to full "OFF" then back to full "ON" position.
  3. If this does not reset the breaker, or if the breaker continues to trip, do not continue resetting the breaker as this can damage the panel box, wiring, or the appliance that it controls.
  4. Call a licensed electrical contractor for a service inspection.
